More about me

When I sought therapy and psychiatric care myself, I rarely saw providers who looked like me, spoke my language, or fully understood my cultural context. That absence stayed with me. I want to be the provider I once searched for, the face patients can see themselves in, someone who can deliver care in their native language and offer treatment grounded in understanding, dignity, and cultural humility. I want to care for patients the way I needed to be cared for.

Clinical Background

I have worked as a nurse for 13 years and as a nurse practitioner for 3 of those years. My clinical experience includes inpatient, outpatient and community outreach centers within LA County, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and academic research institutions. I have cared for individuals adults ages 18-65+ who have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness and would benefit from an intensive service program medical and psychosocial presentations.

I am fully bilingual and offer care in both English and Spanish.

Who I Commonly Work With

My practice serves adults (ages 18–65+), including:

  • Individuals living with chronic or complex medical conditions

  • Those navigating trauma, grief, or major life transitions

  • First-generation in the US

  • First responders and healthcare professionals

  • Individuals seeking meaning-centered or depth-oriented psychiatric care

  • I work best with the cycle-breakers and the 'responsible ones.' My clients are typically first-generation women and eldest daughters who have mastered the art of 'doing it all' but are tired of the anxiety that comes with it. If you’ve spent your life being the high-achieving anchor for everyone else, you’re in the right place.

Psychotherapy

Being a first-gen eldest daughter is a masterclass in resilience, but it shouldn't be a life sentence to anxiety. I provide a space where you can set down the heavy mantle of being the family pioneer. We’ll work on the unique pressures of navigating two worlds while finally prioritizing your own mental health.

You’ve spent your life being 'the responsible one.' You’re successful on paper, but exhausted in practice. My approach to therapy helps over-productive women quiet the inner critic that says 'more is never enough.' Let's move you from surviving your to-do list to actually enjoying your life.
